The Sydney Academy Club is a proud member of the Eastern Canada Key Club District. We are part of the High Tides/Rock Shore Division. The Eastern Canada Key Club Website provides helpful information about opportunities and events for Key Clubs in the district, as well as a variety of resources for members.
The Key Club International website provides a wide variety of information and resources about the principles and history of Key Club, as well as opportunities for our members to lead and serve on an international level.
Kiwanis International
Key Club is a member of the Kiwanis Family, alongside a variety of service organizations for both youth and adults, including K-KIds, Builders' Club, and Circle K. The Sydney Academy Key Club is currently working closely with the Harbourside Elementary K-Kids Club and the Malcolm Munroe Junior High Builders' Club.
The Whitney Pier Youth Club provides a supportive environment, as well as enriching services and programs, to the children and youth of the local community. The Sydney Academy Key Club held a coffee house fundraiser for the Whitney Pier Youth Club during the 2013-2014 school year, and we plan to continue our support of the Whitney Pier Youth Club in the future.
Loaves and Fishes Sydney, established in 1981, currently serves over 50 000 meals annually. Members of the Sydney Academy Key Club volunteer regularly with Loaves and Fishes Sydney.
